What will your responsibilities be

• Design, build, and maintain complex systems using Golang and related technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Provide hands-on technical leadership for one or more product/feature sets
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that meets our business needs
• Perform code reviews and help us build better
• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Qualifications

• 10+ years as a Software Developer
• Prior experience as a technical leader
• Extensive experience in Golang development
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes
• Experience with VueJS (nice to have)
• Passion for tackling complexity with simplicity and building platforms that scale
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A sense of urgency and ownership over the product

Working conditions:

We are all currently working remotely; when conditions permit we aim to offer a balanced hybrid model of WFH and in-office located at UBC Robson Square, smack in the centre of Vancouver.
